Italian architect Aldo Cibic was in charge of the Art Direction of the new tableware collection for Milanese firm Paola C. Afroditi was invited to submit a caraffe concept in the company’s ethos of long lasting simplicity. The result is a caraffe, pared down to the absolutely essential elements. The outcome is an uninterrupted cylindrical body, which has been cut at an angle to give an ellipse, and a point which acts as a natural spout. All curves, radii and angles were carefully tested through series of drawings and foam models. Produced in sterling silver.
