Prime Time Hidden
This proposal is the result of an invitation by Hidden to work on a conceptual study of a one-off chair. Looking at early 1910’s Harrods furniture catalogues, Afroditi came across the love seat: a two-seater for lovers. Once a popular piece of furniture, it soon disappeared as homes became smaller and television took over.
Prime Time questions life and relationships, as it requires people to spend time with each other, as well as physically synchronise for the chair to start rocking.
Currently part of a proposal for a public installation in Athens, Greece.
