MIDWEIGHT HOSPITALITY INTERIOR DESIGNER

Location: London, United Kingdom
Type: Full-time, Hybrid (up to 1 day per week WFH)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Midweight Hospitality Interior Designer with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences and a strong understanding of hospitality environments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent design skills across all project stages, from concept creation through to delivery, with a particular strength in concept development. You will be resourceful, proactive, highly organised, and capable of balancing creative thinking with technical execution.

This role requires someone who can confidently operate at both the strategic and detailed scales of design, navigating the creative, technical, and logistical demands of fast-paced hospitality projects.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects for influential clients within an award-winning international design studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop authentic, uber-creative and compelling client presentations, including concept narratives, visual research, and design development.

• Produce exciting spatial planning, zonal layouts, and furniture plans.

• Resolve architectural and spatial requirements while exploring the sculptural and experiential qualities of interior environments.

• Prepare comprehensive specifications, schedules, and documentation, including materials, finishes, fixtures, and hardware.

• Source materials and products, undertaking research and development to support project requirements.

• Design and develop bespoke FF&E packages.

• Liaise directly with clients, subconsultants, suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Manage and monitor site construction, FF&E production, procurement, and installation processes independently.

• Collaborate creatively and effectively within client and project teams.

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 5 years’ professional interior design experience.

• Proven hospitality design experience, at least 3 projects in F&B and wider hospitality

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience presenting to and working directly with clients.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable

• Proficiency in SketchUp and AI visualisation.

• Experience working on international and luxury hospitality projects.

• Knowledge of FF&E procurement and installation processes.
