Kong is a new Chinese Public House in Shoreditch, London, designed by Afroditi and created by Chef Andrew Wong and Dishoom co-founder Amar Radia.

Set within the former Water Poet, Kong brings together the enduring character of the East London pub with the depth and regional traditions of Chinese cooking.

Led by two-Michelin-starred Chef Andrew Wong, Kong offers “dumplings at dawn, noodles at lunch, and grills with a cold pint at dusk”. The project also marks a long-standing relationship between Afroditi and Amar. Eighteen years ago, while Afroditi was in Jamaica exhibiting her early work, Amar called her. That first meeting led to the creation of Dishoom and a relationship that has continued ever since.
